Google Health has injected health facts into their Knowledge Graph, so users now can see relevant medical facts alongside their search results when they ask about common heath conditions.
Google team worked with a team of doctors. All of the gathered facts represent real-life clinical knowledge from these doctors and high-quality medical sources across the web, and the information has been checked by this team.
I was admitted to help the Google Health team in a large effort to launch an internal tool which is used by the team of doctors around the world. That’s the main tool that allow these doctors to compile, curate, and review the information that are shown on “medical cards”.
My biggest challenge was understand the doctors and Google team needs through Design approach: making benchmarks of similar tools, designing mockups and testing.
